English teachers Ellen Donahue and Jillian Barry have been waiting for their new classrooms as part of a school renovation.
On April 6, all teachers who are waiting for classrooms received an email with a Google Sheet indicating that the teachers would be moving into their new rooms after spring break, April 17.
The day before spring break the entrance to the hallway where Barry's classroom will be is still closed.
During spring break Donahue and Barry chaperoned a school trip to New Orleans, where 48 students and nine teachers volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.
Upon their return, Donahue and Barry planned to have new classrooms that would feature SMART Boards, white boards and new shelving. This classroom belongs to a colleague, who has been in her room for the entire year.
