This is a timeline for the Odyssey, remember this occurred after the Trojan War.

Phaiakins
Phaiakians found Odysseus washed ashore of their seafaring land and once they realize who he is give him gifts and help return him home to Ithaca.

Eumaeus
Eumaeus is the first mortal that Odysseus comes across on his return home, he initially tricks him into believing he is someone else until he proves himself.

Telemachos
Telemachos is Odysseus' son who went on a trip away from his mother to try to find news of his father and his whereabouts.

The suitors
While gone Odysseus' wife and son and to fight of suitors trying to marry Penelope, after returning home Odysseus fought them off for good.

Calypso
Calypso kept Odysseus hostage for seven years in her palace. She lured him in with her singing and whilst there they slept together. He wants to leave and eventually the gods order his release, despite her anger she provides him with bread, wine, and the materials to make a small raft.

Odysseus and his men receive warnings from some of the ghosts while in the underworld and he also discovers that his mother has died when he sees her ghost there.

A pair of two beautiful women that lure Odysseus and his men with their beautiful song and attempt to wreck their ship.

Scylla and Charybdis
Scylla and Charybdis are two sea creature Odysseus had to struggle with on his journey home to Ithaca. One was a whirlpool the other a multi-headed dragon like creature.

Helios
Helios punishes Odysseus and his men for eating his cattle by holding his breathe so the wind no longer blows and they cannot proceed home.

The men run into the Charybdis sea monster again, the whirlpool.

Odysseus and his men end up on Circe's island and it takes them a year to escape, in which time she turns the men into pigs.

The men got stranded on an island and met natives that ate Lotus and found themselves high and unable o remember what they were supposed to be doing. Odysseus drug the men back to the boat to get them home.

Polyphemus
Polyphemus was a Cyclops that Odysseus and his men met, Odysseus knew that the Cyclops was going to try to eat them. Odysseus got the Cyclops drunk and was able to stab his eye and kill him so the men could escape.
