Welcome to the brief History and Evolution of Open Learning!
Open Learning does not have a static definition, but is an ever-evolving movement that strives to remove barriers from education and learning. The development of this movement has been anything but linear and its rapid growth is closely related to the development of technology over the last 40 years.
