Today marks the second anniversary of Tiki-Toki's launch! As you can imagine, we're rather chuffed. We are going to celebrate by having a huge party at a posh London hotel and invite loads of celebrities. Actually, that is not really our style. But we will definitely be having an extra biscuit with our afternoon tea!
So what has happened in two years? Quite a lot, actually! The Tiki-Toki you know today is very different from what it was at launch. You see, we have listened to you, our users, and built in many of your suggestions (not all of them, I hasten to add - we have to prevent Tiki-Toki becoming bloated - but we like to think we have responded to our users' wishes).
To get a sense of how much Tiki-Toki has changed since it took its first tentative steps onto the World Wide Web in March 2011, take a look at our FAQs page for a list of features that have been added since launch (scroll all the way to the bottom of the FAQs page).
It is not just the range of features Tiki-Toki offers that has changed. We now have thousands of regular users, ranging from history buffs to schools to museums to media organisations to charities to you-name-it!
While we're quite pleased with everything accomplished so far, we're not ones to sit on our laurels (that would squish them, after all!). There are a few things we're hoping to accomplish in the next year, including downloadable versions of Tiki-Toki. We're also investigating how much interest there is for organisation-wide versions of Tiki-Toki (e.g., a version of Tiki-Toki that could be used by an entire school) - so if you are interested, let us know!
As always, we love to hear from you, so if you have any suggestions, comments or questions, please get in touch with us at blog@tiki-toki.com.
Before I go, I would just like to thank all the people who have used Tiki-Toki and have helped Tiki-Toki become what it is today. We couldn't have done it without you.
