This is the day H.H sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was born.
In 1966 and by approval from the ruling family, H.H sheikh Zayed was given the reins of power for Abu Dhabi after his brother sheikh Shakhbut.
This day was the greatest day because, the 7th emirates became one and the United Arab Emirates was born thanks to the dream sheikh Zayed had and the commitment to make the dream a reality.
The saddest thing every emirati had to hear. The father left his children. Sheikh Zayed may be gone but he will always be in our hearts.
After the father has passed there is the son sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed who took over this great country and continued what H.H sheikh Zayed has started.
