Martin Incident
Around 7pm, Zimmerman called the police in regards to an incident involving him and a young black man. At approximately 7:16, a gunshot was fired and a few minutes later, Zimmerman was rushed to the hospital and treated for a fat lip and other minor wounds. Trayvon Martin was then pronounced dead.

The local news soon turned into national news as the black community pushed the police to further look into Zimmerman's account of self-defense.

Almost 2 months later, Zimmerman was finally arrested after an uprise from the black community.

Since the story gained so much national and now international coverage, the FBI decides to intervene and look into the case. About a week later they called for a full trial.

The Verdict
After less than 24 hours of deliberation, the jury found George Zimmerman not guilty of the murder of Trayvon Martin. If the black community was pissed before.....then they were surely pissed now.

Post Hearing
Ever since the hearing, both Zimmerman and his family have received countless death threats. George tried to regain his good name by helping a family out of a car but that was soon overlooked because he was caught purchasing illegal firearms and taking them across state lines.
