The raw materials are put together and the alarm clock is built. A process known as manufacturing.

After the alarm clocks are built and delivered to sales departements, the consumer then purchases the product.

After a while, the product either breaks or the necessity of it runs out. In the case of an alarm clock, the consumer either throws it away or gives it to a recycling plant where it is taken apart and salvaged for any parts that still work.
