The Japanese start to land on Kota Bharu, however are met with resistance from the Allies. Although they met with resistance, they managed to control the shore.
The Japanese sink the HMS Prince of Wales and the Repulse, removing the two capital ships from Force Z. This reduces the capabilities to do battle for the Allies in Malaya.
The British try to keep the Japanese away from Jitra, but are eventually defeated.
The Indian soldiers fought well and fought fiercely, but were still no match for the Japanese tanks.
The British were again no match for the Japanese tanks, and were defeated. Bukit Timah fell to the Japanese (and all the invaluable resources).
The Last Stand of the Malay Regiment took place in this battle. The Japanese eventually killed 159 Allied Soldiers and successfully captured Opium Hill, gaining access to Alexandra.
The Japanese were able to infiltrate Singapore, and successfully established a stronghold in the Woodlands Area due to the blunder of the Allies.
