Timeline of the month: The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

We're really pleased to feature the Scholastic Art & Writing Award's timeline this month, and would like to congratulate them on their 90th anniversary!

For those unfamiliar with the organisation, they run an annual arts and writing program for American students to identify and recognise future potential. They received 230,000 submissions this year! Past winners feature diverse creative talents and include Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, Robert Redford, Lena Dunham, Zac Posen and many other notable alumni.

Their timeline records the history of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and features notable alumni, winning works and famous jurors. Not only is the timeline beautifully designed, but we love that some of the winning works are available for viewing - it adds to the richness of the timeline and rewards exploration.

So a big congratulations to the Scholastic Art & Writing awards on their anniversary - we're chuffed that Tiki-Toki has been able to play some small part in showcasing the great work they do.
