This month's featured timeline is the educational and beautifully designed history of rockets and space travel, put together by Crank Publishing to tie in with their iOS app Junior Astronaut - Breaking through the space barrier.
There are many things to love about this timeline, but we think its simplicity and clarity really make it stand out. It starts off with the Greeks and wraps up with the first man on the moon, stopping off at the invention of gunpowder and covering other seminal scientific accomplishments. Even with the breadth of material covered, however, it never feels overwhelming - topics are just touched on and framed in wider context, with some of the stories offering video snippets if you want to find out more. It may be aimed at kids, but I learned a thing or two too!
As ever, if you have created or know of a timeline that should be featured in future, get in touch with us at blog@tiki-toki.com.
Thanks for reading, and enjoy exploring a Brief History of Rockets and Space travel!
