Tiki-Toki is pleased to feature a timeline all about the History of Gifted Education, just in time for the start of a new academic year! This timeline was created by Bonnie Cramond of the University of Georgia and her students.
In this very colourful 3D timeline, Bonnie and her students document the history of eduction, with a particular focus on gifted education. The timeline starts off with Plato's school in ancient Greece, and covers up to the present day. It includes information on key people who have shaped gifted education and American legislation that has impacted education.
You can change the timeline to a 2D view by clicking on the 2D button in the bottom left, and you can search and modify the timeline using the wrench button on the bottom right. The timeline also uses group edit so others can add to it (though you would need to contact Bonnie for the password to edit!).
This is an interesting and informative timeline, especially some of the later, more lenghty entries. Many of the entries link to other resources, allowing the viewer to explore the topics further.
As ever, if you know of any timelines that should be featured in future, get in touch with us at blog@tiki-toki.com.
Thanks for reading!
