We're delighted to feature the History of Fish Creek timeline. It is a nicely-designed and informative timeline about the area surrounding Fish Creek, on the outskirts of Brisbane, Australia, and was put together by Hilder Road State School parents. You can find out more about the Fish Creek community on their website.
The timeline uses Tiki-Toki's category band view to impressive effect, dividing the stories into three key categories. This creates the framework for presenting content about everything from from history and the environment to people and culture.
It also uses our timeline maker's equal spacing mode (where the stories are all equally spaced regardless of the time between them). The timeline starts at 6,000BC with Aboriginal peoples but then smoothly moves through Australia's colonial period up to the present day.
This is a beautiful and interesting timeline, with a local perspective on Australian history, and well worth exploring!
If you know of any timelines that should be featured in future, get in touch with us at blog@tiki-toki.com.
Thanks for reading!
