We present to you another great timeline created by one of our users. University of Cambridge's Faculty of English Library's Cambridge Literature Timeline is fantastic, full of great content and beautifully designed.
Staff from the Faculty of English Library set up the timeline as an engaging visual tool for first year students. You can find out more about the development and goals of the timeline here. The timeline starts with Beowulf (an epic poem dating from between the 8th and 11th centuries) and runs to the modern day, showing important works of literature as well as key events, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 (currently the final entry on the timeline).
Students and faculty were encouraged to use Tiki-Toki's group edit feature to add to the timeline. What's more, library staff, faculty and students have collaborated to create other timelines that are also well worth exploring - you can find a few here.
If you know of any timelines that should be featured on our blog, please get in touch with us at blog@tiki-toki.com.
